The future of helicopter technology is coming to North Texas June 20 as Eurocopter, the world’s largest helicopter manufacturer, kicks off its U.S. tour of the X3 prototype aircraft.

Join dignitaries and special guests at the company’s American Eurocopter facilities in Grand Prairie as the hybrid helicopter performs a flight display demonstrating the unique blending of technology and revolutionary design that is destined to forever change the helicopter industry. With excellent maneuverability, outstanding acceleration and deceleration provided by revolutionary technology, the prototype X3 helicopter can reach top speeds in excess of 230 knots (264.7 mph). 

Dr. Lutz Bertling, President and CEO of Eurocopter, will present the X3 prototype with key executives from Eurocopter and American Eurocopter, including Dr. Bertling, available following the event to discuss the
X3’s impact on the industry and the practical applications of this advanced technology.
